Shane Beamer?

USC Gamecock fan here. Paul Finebaum recently speculated that their could be mutual interest between VaTech and Shane Beamer. Has this thought even crossed the mind of any Hokies? I'd be stunned if they went that route. Just curious to see what you Hokies think about it.

Shane Beamer is making big bucks and has 4-5 years to turn the program around in S. C. plus any coach that jumps ship after one year will have a bad reputation. It's possible but not probable that he would come to VT. Anyway, if things turn around and we finish strong all this talk will go away. Our recruiting class for 2022 is looking really good now.
