I've seen Kumah play several times in person. This is a really nice pick-up for the Hokies, could turn out to be a big-time playmaker for VT in the future. Strikes me as an all or nothing player when he gets the ball in his hands. Good hands like you said - not a good idea to kick the ball to him either. Made an immediate impact as a freshman on varsity in 2012, and he became the go to guy instantly for his current team when he transferred there mid-season in 2013. Last season as you can see from the film he was one of the areas most dangerous players.

Kids transfer in mid-season? Did he have to sit out or anything?

Kind of vague but from what I remember it was ruled that he was allowed to play due to family circumstances that caused him to transfer back to his base school i.e. the transfer was not athletically motivated.
