That's Brandon Dorlus, a 6-foot 3-inch, 270 lb (already) with offers from Nebraska, Clemson, Florida, Kentucky, Louisville, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Virginia, and others.
I haven't spoken to him in some time, so I'm not sure exactly where his mind is right now:

Of course, the main reason I haven't spoken to him in a while is that he has been to other schools more than Virginia Tech lately, so it would be a mild upset if he opts to become a Hokie.
It certainly indicates (as another piece of evidence, along with written offers given to Tahj Gary and Jamious Griffin) that the staff is not only willing to bring in a second tailback in the class, but actively trying to make sure they have another.
He's received a full release from his scholarship and will choose to play elsewhere. At this point, I'm not sure who has openings for the Fall, but maybe a quick stint in Juco could give him time to evaluate his options if he doesn't find anything immediately:
The more I think about this pledge (and watch his film), the more I like it. A more well-rounded guy than I was expecting, but it's not because he lacks in the area that they needed, which is power:
Haven't caught up with him about the BBQ yet, but based on VT's end of things, sounds like the King commitment will greatly reduce the pursuit of Griffin (though perhaps not completely end it, it's certainly less of a priority).
