Guys, I just spoke a little while with Hapeville Charter (Ga.) class of 2017 CB
LeAnthony Williams, who VT just offered at the end of last week. Williams also has a Kentucky offer.
Strangely, Williams said he doesn't know a lot about VT in part because he hasn't talked to the assistant coach who offered him,
Torrian Gray. Williams said he was excited for the offer, though, because he's wanted to play in the ACC. The reason is "because they're always getting downgraded by the SEC."
The only place Williams has been is Alabama for a visit a few weeks ago. He also went to Kentucky briefly during his freshman year. With Alabama, though, if they offer, that will most likely instantly be his leader. He knows Rivals250 OL
Dallas Warmack, who just enrolled early this spring there. But a long way to go. He'll wait at least though his junior season, likely.
This is a good young offer for the Hokies. Going against Alabama is always a struggle, though again, the Tide haven't offered yet. We'll get a better look at him at our Rivals camp, likely in Atlanta in two weeks.
