From FL. Dane Frantzen.

Frantzen led Plant to the Florida 7A State Championship. He threw for 2,502-yards and 30 touchdowns on the season while also adding 1,512 rushing yards and 21 rushing touchdowns.

He wants to be an H-Back and run or pass for us.

He's 5'11" and 185 lbs, fast and nifty and can throw well. He is probably foregoing full schollies at other schools to try big time ball.

Walk-ons are great for VT football.

Looking at the Rivals 100, its interesting to note how few ranked football recruits are from Virginia and how many are from Florida. There are more kids from IMG Academy in Florida than there are from the entire state of Virginia on the list. Urban Meyer and Nick Saban know that's crazy and have had great success recruiting the best players from Virginia. I hope that Fuentes locks in on the top Virginia talent and can keep them in-state where they can excel rather than sitting on the bench in Tuscaloosa, Alabama wherever that is.
