The Hokies should have depth at PG next year (Bede as the primary player, Wilkins and Kabongo for some additional minutes), but not having a second true point is going to be unfortunate. On the plus side, he'll have time to focus on the future, rather than this high school team, for the next few months, but that's a pretty slim silver lining.

It'll be interesting to see if he heals quickly enough to be a contributor next year, or if he's not going to be fully healthy until mid-January or so (as is sort of the trend with knee injuries these days: able to run, etc. in 6-8 months, but not back to the usual level of explosiveness until a little over a year after injury), if the staff even decides to redshirt him.
