" Beat Tech"

I see the Boo Hoos have signs posted all over, that say "Beat Tech". I hope they get so wrapped up in wanting to beat VT, that they lose 11 games before then.
If talk could win games, Mendenhall would be best coach in America. He blows more hot air than a jet engine.

So, Bronco has told his team that their #1 goal is to beat Tech. They could have a winning season (not likely) and go to a bowl game (which they would lose) but if they lose to Tech, their season would be a failure (absolutely). He also said that they only have 27 ACC caliber players out of 80 on the team. With leadership like that, this will likely be Bronco's last year.
