I thought he'd made it through the gantlet when he wasn't announced in the release with the other staff changes yesterday. Evidently, the Hokies just wanted to give him his due, given he'd been around so long:

Opens another spot on the staff, and leaves only Justin Hamilton from the 2019 defensive group in the coaching room.
