I think Fuente has a shot at it for sure. The luster is off for me for Petrino. Wake had a surprisingly good season. I think it's hard to argue for anyone else.

Fuente should win it easily. But Clawson at Wake has done a good job.

It would be hard to argue against Clawson. Wake Forest was dead, buried and forgotten heading into this year.

Afraid it will be Clawson but Fuente should get it IMHO.

That would be kinda laughable, IMO. I'm not trying to take away from what Clawson did this year, but a fifth place divisional finish by a third-year coach with a .500 record? I know it's Wake Forest but I don't see how anyone could sanely pick that over Fuente as a first-year coach who is also reviving a moribund program, returning it to its first title game appearance in five years, and who managed more overall wins and conference wins than we've had since 2011.
