Former VT basketball star guard Erick Green has signed with the Utah Jazz, marking his return to the NBA.
His previous experience in the NBA was with the Denver Nuggets, the team that drafted him in the second round after his senior year. Before signing with the Jazz, Green was playing in the D-League. He became the NBA's 13th player called up from the D-League this season.
After being waived by the Nuggets in November, he briefly played with an Itialian Pro team before moving to the developmental league.
Financial terms of Green's contract with the Jazz have not been disclosed.
