If he'd began 2019 as the starter (and especially if he'd gotten a bit more run as a backup in 2018), I think it's fair to say the season would have turned out much better. The BC game (Ryan Willis threw the same number of interceptions in the third quarter of that game as Hooker threw all year) at the very least would likely have turned out differently, and set a different tone for the season.
