Guys, I spoke earlier with Raines (Fla.) three-star defensive end Jaquan Bailey, one of the scheduled visitors to VT this weekend. Very up in the air now what he'll do.

Bailey told me that he now will take the next couple of days to decide whether he wants to visit VT or Iowa State next weekend. It sounds like visiting during the week isn't an option because of various reasons, including school.

Before you ask, the main reason Iowa State is in the picture is because the Cyclones are one of the few to offer Jaquan and his brother, three-star DT Josh Bailey. Jaquan said he doesn't have to play with his brother, but it sounds like he'd prefer to and also told me "I'm thinking about my mom, so she doesn’t want to go to two colleges, across the country." Jaquan said he also really likes new coach Matt Campbell at Iowa State.

The Hokies have not offered Josh and it sounds like they don't plan to. Jaquan loves assistant coach Charley Wiles and met with him earlier this week. He also called and text Wiles today about all the snow.

Jaquan doesn't want to list a top group, but it sounds like Tennessee and Central Florida are also in the mix here. The only one of the four mentioned not to offer his brother is VT. Jaquan said he and his brother will likely visit UCF this coming week, but not sure if that will be for an official. It's only about a two-hour drive. He also really liked officially visiting Tennessee last weekend and said he felt like he was already on the team.

It sounds like the Bailey brothers will decide on signing day. I know VT feels good about Jaquan, but obviously, playing with his brother is a big deal. We'll know over the next few days what the Hokies' chances are. If he visits, the chances are still good. If he goes to Iowa State instead, there's little to no chance.
