Guys, I know some of you have been dying to know about Ocean Lakes (Va.) three-star wide receiver Tahj Capehart. He visited Virginia Tech yesterday and today unofficially, staying overnight.
I just got off the phone with Tahj Capehart's dad just to check on everything. The reason why I haven't done anything on Tahj, as his dad reaffirmed is because they're actually visiting Mary;and right now. It makes no sense to do a full story on Tahj yet when he's in the middle of another visit. What if he likes Maryland a lot? What if he sees something there that reminds him of something he likes better at VT? You never know.
Capehart's dad did tell me of the visit to Blacksburg, "It was ok." I honestly think he was just worn out from a long trip. Tahj was actually out getting something to eat with his mom while his dad was just hanging out at their hotel.
"We kinda liked it," Capehart's dad told me. "It wasn’t a bad visit, so that wasn’t a bad thing. We’re just collecting, basically seeing what we wanna do. Right now, we’re just going through the recruiting process. Later on we'll see what we’re gonna do."
Capehart's dad told me their plan is to stay most of the day tomorrow at Maryland and head home. They're gonna call me when they leave, so I'll talk to Tahj then for a full story.
Guys, I'm never withholding info like this from you. You all should know me better than that by now. But I'm also not bothering these people unless something like a commitment has happened, which it hasn't. I know Tahj and his family and they're very nice people. They're tired from a long couple of days, with another big day tomorrow, during Tahj's spring break. I promise I will have a full INsider post on both visits tomorrow.
