The committee blew it big time sticking an undeserving Ohio State team in this playoff. OSU proved on the field that they weren't even the best team in their own conference.
I saw a LOT of analysts today talking about how the selection committee needs a total overhaul, since they don't have enough common sense to value things like conference titles, head-to-head results, etc.
The only criteria in the world that supports OSU being in this game is personal biased opinion.

Troy had 386 yds and 24 pts
Louisville had 568 yds and 38 pts
NC State had 397 yds and 17 pts
FSU had 449 yds and 34 pts
Pitt had 464 yds and 43 pts
VT had 386 yds and 35 pts the last time out for Clemson
Ohio State has 89 yds and 0 pts at halftime, despite starting in Clemson territory 3 times.

Everyone on committee should be fired. I thought one had to know college football to be on committee. A bunch if unethical individuals.
THIS is what happens when you select teams using zero predefined criteria and then compound the problem by ignoring every single tangible fact that happened on the field of play for the entire year and instead vote based purely on personal bias:
