I bet UNC is laughing. But if NCAA ever decides to punish UNC they will probably vacate a couple wins.
When NCAA punishes a school for cheating, they should put a good post season ban on them to where it hinders recruiting. Then most schools will stop cheating. Now they know if they cheat very little will happen.

So ND has to vacate wins from 3-4 years okay. Does that really matter? Only this year record matters. ND banned from bowls thru November 2017. What bowl games are there in November? This has no impact on ND at all. ND is not bowl eligible this year and next December I assume they can be in a bowl game (if they are eligible). The NCAA is useless against cheating. Time to get rid of the NCAA. This will all be forgotten in a week.
The ominous part of the story is that ND is appealing and they are saying that the punishment is too strict. They are citing that other school (s) have received less punishment for far worse offenses. Wonder who they are talking about?
ND should be thankful They just got slapped on the wrist with a feather. If I had handed down punishment they would have gotten a 4 year bowl ban and lost 10 scholarships a year for 4 years.
I'm still waiting for the UNC punishment announcement, or did I miss it?
