This is gonna be something. Probably should throw UL in this to get a real down home group of teams that do things the right way.
Who you got?

The NCAA is very weak on punishment. Now that BB is in Final 4, I am hoping they come down hard on FB so they are not a threat to VT down the road.

On paper UNC is best team in Final 4. I said at start of season that UNC was best team in the nation. (sorry UVA, Kansas, Kentucky, etc). I hope UNC wins it all for the ACC.

It's a sham and a farce that the NCAA conveniently is waiting until AFTER the tourney before they render their UNC verdict, but this championship is theirs to lose. It's been UNC vs the field ever since the tourney began.

This has been some coincidence that UNC just so happens to be fielding their best team since 2009, huh? Funny how that works.

New USA Today article about the cheaters UNC and Syracuse...Final Four as Much about Scandals as Baskets

Coming to Houston this week with hopes of another national championship is North Carolina, a school embroiled in one of the biggest NCAA academic scandals ever for enrolling athletes in sham classes and having tutors write their papers to keep them eligible.

There to meet them will be the scrappy team from Syracuse, fresh off a postseason ban and coaching suspension for breaking a smorgasbord of NCAA rules.

The oddsmakers favor North Carolina, which seems fitting. There are some people, cynical as they might be, who believe the university found a way to delay upcoming NCAA penalties because the Tar Heels were loaded with talent this year and had a good chance to make the Final Four.

Left unsaid by Williams was that a university investigation showed 167 enrollments by basketball players into the African and Afro-American Studies program at the center of the scandal since he was named coach in 2003.

Players didn't need to go to classes in most cases because there weren't any. All they had to do was write a paper — or have someone write a paper for them — to get credits to remain eligible.

Former player Rashad McCants is on record saying he took a number of the classes in his three years at Chapel Hill, including four during the 2005 national championship season. McCants said tutors wrote his papers for him, and claimed Williams was "100 percent aware of the 'paper class' system," something the coach denies.

When a school gets caught cheating, the NCAA should make sure they are not a factor for at least 5 years.

Where you been Jack? Got a present for you right here from the front page of the biggest newspaper in NC. UNC-Cheats caught lying to the NCAA and SACS. Imagine that!

Long-ago UNC report contradicts university’s latest stance on independent studies

A 2003 faculty document affirmed that there was a long-standing 12-hour cumulative limit

Limit on independent studies is an issue for NCAA investigation

University has told NCAA, accreditation group that there was no limit prior to 2006

UNC lied so that the number of athletes exceeding the 12-hour cumulative limit would only amount to 10. Now, with the truth exposed, it adds at least 140 more athletes to the list.

Nova will win it all, but UNC will beat the Cuse by 10-15 points going away.

Personally I think every school not embroiled in cheating controversy should file a class action suit against the NCAA. If they have to obey the rules and other schools were enriched by not following the rules then the NCAA unfairly enriched certain schools at the expense of all others. I predict such a lawsuit would bankrupt the NCAA and force the end of it. Now no telling what would take its place and may be a situation of careful what you wish for.

It would be good if NCAA went bankrupt. Then maybe they would start doing their job, instead of just worried about making money,.
