Things just got easier for GT game

Ehh, it's kind of a plug-n-play system. If you don't keep your assignments, Mother Teresa could run for 200 yds in that offense. If you do keep your assignments, then Walter Peyton would have a hard time getting to 100.
Bud has been hit-or-miss over the years at defending that attack, but at least this year, we have a good chance of scoring a bunch on the other side of the ball to cover for it if the defense goes south. It's been a few games, though, since the offense AND the defense both showed up on the same day. It would be nice to see that again.

2 things would make the news better: if the QB was out for 2 games and if Bud Foster had 10 days or 2 weeks to prepare for the game. We don't fare well against GT if we only have 1 week to prepare for them.
You are absolutely correct BigDaddy. I wish we had 2 weeks before this game. Bud has said it before that preparations for this game requires a lot of practice/repetitions which you cannot get through in 1 week.
Something tells me we will get gashed for big yards on the ground, but overall I'm not concerned. I don't see them stopping our offense enough to win.
it was certainly easy to win this game from the start with but it is much more easier now. However, this is a game VT loses because of itself, if it does indeed lose (I don't think they will). They won't lose but rather win by likely a larger margin because it is more easier now. Too easy at this point. They roll even more to aid in the polls and a better bowl. Go VT.
