Somewhat surprising, given that the sophomore was named to the Maxwell watchlist (best offensive player), but is apparently not one of the best running backs in the country.

I will say one thing: if the offense improves like we think it will, there's no way a mid-season list of 76 running backs wouldn't include McMillian. Missing the list now is ultimately meaningless (as all these watchlists truly are in the end), because players can be nominated for the awards through the first several weeks of the season.
