VT is in the market for a new softball coach. Scot Thomas was let go yesterday after 23 years.

My radar screen says that's the best hire Whit could have made. Be interesting to see if he brings his staff at Kennesaw to Blacksburg.

That was a good hire. He coached at Missouri, prior to KSU. To take a program to next level, you must play and beat SEC schools.
