Our current national ranking of #44 is somewhat deceiving in my opinion. It is primarily reflective of class Quantity rather than class Quality. We only have 16 commits, but the quality of those commits, with an average star rating of 3.38, would rank VT as #24 on the basis of quality alone. Consider also that VT has at least 2 recruits (Johnson and Williams) who are considered 4 star prospects by at least one of the other major recruiting sites, but are rated 3 star by Rivals. That gives us 8 of 16 recruits that merit a 4 star evaluation from at least one major site. Throw in the fact that we have a couple more recruits with a high 3 star rating of 5.7, and this class has the look of a very high quality haul by Pry and staff in year 2. I am pleased with this class!
Tim, do you foresee any signing day "surprises" tomorrow such as a late flip of Rainer or others??
