Welcome Jordan Williams to the fold!

He clearly made a mistake when he went to Clemson. Glad he realized that and came back to VT.
Yes sir, Jordan hates those six ACC championships and two national championships. Nevertheless, very good player and a great person. Clemson Nation wishes him nothing but the best.

Kids don't care about the championships if they are sitting on the bench. If he did he wouldn't be transferring now, would he? He would have been in rotation right from his FS year at VT. From that point of view, he made a mistake going to Clemson.

He's been in the 2 deep at Clemson for 2 full seasons. Unfortunately he's just getting passed by more talented, younger players. He won 4 conference titles (including his redshirt year in '17), 1 national title, was a contributing member of the defense including quite a few starts, and leaves with a degree. Pretty sure if you ask Jordan he'd tell you he made no mistake. You're getting a good player though that should be able to help you but what you see is what you're going to get. He's pretty much maxed out ability wise at this point which is why he's leaving. Also, to correct you, kids definitely care about winning and championships, it's why they choose Clemson in the first place. Kids want to go where they can win at the highest level to begin with. Then, after they've won enough for their liking, and they get recruited over, they transfer to mediocre programs for their last year because they know it's going to be their last year and they just want to play as much football as they possibly can, which is exactly what Jordan is doing (even though he technically has 2 years but the point's the same, when he's done playing college football he's done playing football).
