In-state report card

I would say most of the guys the staff isn't in good position with (aside from the top two, and then a couple of the guys committed to North Carolina) are lower on the board out of the staff's choice, so that's a positive:

Also, it's worth noting that some of the lower-end rankings are a little wild because they don't get updated as frequently. I'll say a guy who's likely to end up at Georgetown is a reasonable non-offer.

Sherrod Covil making an announcement within the next couple days

I've been told that it may be a college commitment (though based on the previous trajectory of his recruitment, a trimmed list would make more sense - he hasn't responded with any sort of specifics when I've asked for clarity):

I actually think VT is in a decent position if he makes a commitment immediately or if he waits until the visit trail is back open. That sort of in-between timeframe would mean strong ND/UNC vibes. I'll continue checking to see what the expectations are here.
