Jason and mods- feel free to delete this if you feel it inappropriate, but I am concerned about Beamer's health and frankly his faculties.
In the post-game interview his speech was slow and slurred, and he seemed to be having trouble finding the words he wanted to say. Could this simply be a lingering effect of his throat surgery last year, or is it something else? My Dad (who passed away last year) had the exact same speech issues after a series of mini-strokes that preceded a fatal stroke (the docs called it "thick tongue").
Obviously I hope and pray that Coach Beamer is OK, but he looks very sick to me. And there is a point at which the stress and demands of coaching are not only bad for his health, but bad for the team. I'm worried that we are nearing that point. Am I over analyzing?
