VT D moves up to 33rd. O is 88th and 101st

After the horrific and disastrous performance against Miami, LOL, our defense moved from 39th to 33rd in Total D. After BC, Buds unit should be in the top 30. Our O stayed exactly at 88th in the country in Total O. We moved up to from 104th to 101st in yards per play.

That is correct. The run defense is bad - too many missed tackles.

I think part of our problem with defense is the front four. They were supposed to be solid and spending a lot of time in the backfield. That helps the backs by disrupting the QB's timing with his receivers. That just isn't happening much. Sacks? Where are they? QB hurries are not really there either.

Not at all, QB's have all day. Miami was hard to watch we would blitz and its like we were rushing three. When we have gotten to the QB we miss the tackle. Most busted/ hyped VT Defense in history! Hard to watch this group but it sucks for them because there is such a high standard for them to live up to, and Offenses we are playing are starting to figure out that we do not have the usual talent to go man across the board and rushing 7.
