Landers Nolley to test the NBA Draft waters

Frankly, I'm surprised this wasn't the move even before putting his name in the transfer portal (or at least at the same time as doing so). He's a kid interested - above all else - in getting to the NBA. Makes sense to at least give it a go:

As Corey says in the tweet (and as you should remember from last week), Nolley's committed to transfer to Memphis if he doesn't head to the professional ranks.

Josh McCarron to Virginia

Hokies had hoped the four-star DE out of Washington State would remain uncommitted a little longer. I certainly wouldn't guarantee that he sticks with UVa, but often guys who are picking a school like UVa (the point is the same in both of those regards: it's a program with limited history of recent success) do so for reasons that persist past one season or one coaching staff, even:

I believe he's also a Mormon, so an LDS coach like Bronco Mendenhall certainly helps make things a little more comfortable, too.
