Might have ended up at Duke anyway, but with his being such a similar back to Steward (who the coaches like more), VT wasn't going to be an option anyway.

Hokies would have liked to have him in the class for pipeline reasons - build connections in Georgia and strengthen them at Jacksonville Trinity, where he was a teammate of Chamarri Conner - but he hasn't been a take for quite some time, because the coaches landed guys they were higher on from a talent perspective.

Not much to write home about on offense. A few players ranked. No QB for VT in his top 44 QB's. Travon McMillian is his 35th ranked RB out of 70 ranked. Cam Phillips is ranked 15th in his top 78 WR's. No TE ranked. No FB ranked. Eric Gallo is his 26th ranked center out of 50 ranked. No O-tackle ranked. Wyatt Teller is the 11th ranked guard out of 61 ranked.

Defense on the other hand? Vinny Mihota is 37th ranked DE out of 75 ranked. No DT ranked. Tremaine Edmunds is his #2 outside LB out of 69 ranked. Andrew Motuapuaka is the 18th ranked inside LB out of 50 ranked. Brandon Facyson is 7th ranked CB out of 72 ranked. Greg Stroman is 12th and Adonis Alexander is 36th. Terrell Edmunds is 9th ranked FS out of 36 ranked. No SS/rover ranked.

His individual unit rankings on the offensive side of the ball are also not flattering. QB not ranked. RB not ranked. WR not ranked. O-line not ranked. The defensive side of the ball is well respected. D-line 26th. LB 9th. DB is 3rd.

While I believe this was expected. How does anyone feel about getting him? Do we have a good shot? I mean a really good shot? Are we the favorite. This kid along with Simmons and Turner our offense would be nasty. How realistic is it to think we land this kid?

Just doing some researching and Virginia is loaded with talent.
Will have a great opportunity to land numerous elite prospects.
