Louisville's style of play (shoot a lot, even though not a lot of them go in) matches up with Virginia Tech's defensive style (allow a reasonable number of good looks, tend to have opponents hit more of them than they usually do), but the overall quality of these teams is extremely close:
From a strict talent perspective, he wouldn't be one of the very top guys on the 2022 board. But the staff is wisely (finally) making the sort of decision where they prioritize a guy like him:
Peyton Kemmerlin. Didn't make it through the Fall as an active member of the roster. If anything, it's a little surprising he'd bother to leave Blacksburg to play somewhere else (rather than do what most of us did after high school - forget about football and get the education component done).

I actually think this is probably an OK outcome for the Hokies. Clemson is going to be Clemson no matter what, so a guy staying a little closer to home might make it easier for guys to stay all the way home later.
Auburn is wanting to get rid of him, maybe they will reduce the buyout and he will come cheap. I think he would be the best man for the job, that is if we fire Fuente. What does everyone else think.
