I'll be honest, I thought Noah Kim was doing VT a favor by decommitting (not because of his talent - though also because of that - but because there's not a need for a 2020 quarterback, while there is a need for a great 2021 quarterback). With four scholarship QBs coming back next year, including the top two on the depth chart, it seems unnecessary to bring in a Class of 2020 QB.
For all I think fans are overly harsh on this coaching staff for on-field stuff, a failure to see the big picture in roster management has long been (and appears to still be) the major failing.
2021 RB Brandon Campbell has a weekly conversation w\ Justin Fuentes, who also texts him a good deal. He is making a heartfelt push for Houston's Campbell and Dematrius Davis and trying to sell them on forming their own class with Texas ties. This is a school to look out for
Forever indebted for his contributions to our program and yesterday was by far our best defensive game, but how many big games have we lost in the last minute with that prevent defense. Worked all game but of course the last drive, it doesn't
I just wanted to throw this out there but has Jerod Mayo been mentioned as a possible candidate to replace Bud as defensive coordinator? I am not sure we could pay him enough to pull him from the Patriots but he is a Virginia guy with a pretty good pedigree. Thoughts?
