Myles Jackson will announce a commitment tomorrow night

I have more digging to do, but on the basis of what he told me after his official visit to Blacksburg, the Hokies are in good shape. On the basis of scheduling a commitment immediately after visiting UCLA (the school to which he was previously committed), the Bruins are, too:

I would lean toward a UCLA re-commitment at this point, but again I have to touch base with a few more people close to his recruitment to be sure.

New QB offer last night

In the class of 2020:

New Virginia Tech football offer: Tate Rodemaker

I'll be honest, I thought Noah Kim was doing VT a favor by decommitting (not because of his talent - though also because of that - but because there's not a need for a 2020 quarterback, while there is a need for a great 2021 quarterback). With four scholarship QBs coming back next year, including the top two on the depth chart, it seems unnecessary to bring in a Class of 2020 QB.

For all I think fans are overly harsh on this coaching staff for on-field stuff, a failure to see the big picture in roster management has long been (and appears to still be) the major failing.

Something to keep an eye on...

Just posted this on the Pitt board and wanted to share it here

Hearing some chatter around Tee Denson and just how solid he is to Pitt at this time.

He has added some offers (one from Virginia Tech) in recent weeks and he is definitely talking to other schools.

I know it is not good news, but I’m hearing he could be close to re-opening his recruitment. Just wanted to pass it along in case it does happen.
