Has VT's offensive play calling gone downhill or what? 2nd and 2 in the red zone and we come away with nothing after going for it on 4th down.

Has VT's offensive play calling gone downhill or what? 2nd and 2 in the red zone and we come away with nothing after going for it on 4th down.

A couple of head scratching decisions in the 1st half for sure....pretty fortunate to be this close.

100% agree. Our offensive coordinator has a lot of explaining to do. 3rd and 1 with a minute and change to play and you decide to pass it twice. Many other plays earlier in the game left one scratching their head. The defense giving up two long pass TDs was inexcusable, especially the first one on 3rd and 18, but the offense was absolutely pathetic today.

This loss is on the coaches 80% and the players 20%. Not looking forward to the Toilet Bowl bid.

There was also the 2nd and 2 on the 8 yd line early in the game where we run three plays and lose 3 yds and come away with no points.
