I echo this sentiment... Coach Beamer was (and still is) a great representative for this university. Looking back on things, I am glad that Beamer remained the man that he is as opposed to doing what some programs have done in the quest for glory... even if that makes it that much more difficult to win a championship. People are more important than championships. Hopefully that doesn't change in Blacksburg.

Wow....hard to believe the Beamer era is over. He did an unbelievable job at VT and did it the right way, congrats to him. I hope his health is good and he has a long and enjoyable retirement.
