I think its safe to assume Willis is now the 3rd string QB. Assuming Hooker is healthy, does he start given how well Patterson played?

Furthermore (not trying to jinx us), but does the 'loser' of the 2020 spring practice QB battle enter the transfer portal? Both are starting quality QB's - a good problem to have, but would hate to lose either of them.

Hey guys -- Penn State fan here. I'm certainly early on this, but trying to get on it early..

Planning to come down in September next year for the game and spend the weekend. Planning to bring an RV down with some kids/family. What do I need to know? 2 night overnight parking available in tailgating areas?

Any information that you think might be good to know?

Both Hendon Hooker and Caleb Farley should be fine. To expected to. It’s any on-field time, maybe a bit of practice.

Any word on Hookers injury and why hasn't Hezekiah Grimsley play much? Injury?

Not a lot of (any?) realistic four-star targets out there. Hokies have to get it done in the field - this weekend could be a good start - to change the narrative off it.

Oct. 16 has been circled all off-season and through the early season as VT's big visit weekend, and while the on-field results have taken some of the shine off the group, there should still be a number of talented prospects in the house. Here's an early look:

That's not a comprehensive list, just an early taste. Look for a lot more guys from the Jacksonville area to come up (the same group that camped together in the Summer), along with the usual cohort of guys who come from a little closer to Blacksburg and can make a day trip out of it.

The lone official visitor is Jackson, and it'll be interesting to see how the staff approaches his visit with the way they're spreading the net wider at the DE spot recently. Of course, we're no longer expecting Rivals100 DE Desmond Evans to make his long-scheduled official visit, given that he's expected to commit to the Heels Friday. If he surprises or delays the commitment, the visit could possibly be back on, but I certainly wouldn't be holding my breath.

Hokies DT enters transfer portal

Honestly, a weird one for me. I know he hasn’t gotten the playing time he’d have liked because of injuries, but the trajectory is still there. Frankly, this is a kid that in the past the coaching staff would do a good job managing, and benefit from his breakout as a fourth/fifth year player.

My prediction is in the story. What’s yours?
