Honestly, I know the teams with size seem scary on paper, but they really don’t match up poorly with VT’s strengths and weaknesses from our perspective.
If things break the right way, I think as high as a three-seed is possible. A loss to FSU tomorrow probably means a five-seed except in the instance of an ACC Conference Tournament championship.
From this point forward, basically everything is gravy. Of course, you'd still like to see the best outcomes possible (improving seeding and giving the Hokies a better chance for that elusive NCAA Tournament win):
This kid's going to be a highly-regarded prospect in the 2021 class, and is the rare out-of-region target in recent months who didn't hesitate to say he'd definitely be visiting Blacksburg.
Another prospect they were the early favorite for, now seeming to fall by the wayside. He's not the highest-ranked guy out there, but I certainly like him at the WR position.
