That's... it's not good. The Hokies don't need to win all these battles, but they need to be in the final group for at least some of them. A solid year on the field (especially while UNC totally sucks, which I expect) will help, but some of this comes about because the staff is wasting time in Alabama and Mississippi - and to a lesser extent Texas, though I'm still extremely skeptical of their chances to ever consistently succeed there - instead of doubling down on prospects from realistic areas.
