First things first. LOL at Tim's squinting face on the front page.

Ok, now to less important matters:

LINK: Florida-based TE/WR Larry Hodges holds an offer from Va Tech will visit after the dead period. He should have a date on that in the coming weeks. I think Va Tech has a chance here and could have an even better chance if they let him play WR instead of TE. I can see an argument for either position with him.

Miami wants him at TE and isn't pressing for his commitment yet so this presents an opportunity.

I'm still a little leery of hitching to the sinking ship of ESPN, though in the ACC's case, I guess it's better than not having games on national TV at all (but instead on ESPN3 outside the region). That was a ridiculous situation to have in 2016, and I guess more coverage is better than Not more coverage, even if it proves to be unsustainable a few years down the line.

Story: The latest with Rivals250 Daniel George

I caught up with George yesterday at the Rutgers 7v7. He will visit Penn State again on July 15th. Virginia Tech, Louisville, North Carolina, Maryland, and maybe West Virginia will get visits in July as well. He hopes to commit at the end of July or early August.
