Hearing rumblings that he is a lock for us, but know he visited UCLA yesterday. He has til tomorrow to have his NLI in. Any clue on what he is thinking?
I'll admit, he was a bit more impressive on a re-watch than I'd previously remembered him being. Perhaps not a future star, but more than just a workmanlike possession guy, too.
Detroit Cass Tech three-star LB DeAndre Square visited Blacksburg with his teammates earlier this spring. Although Virginia Tech hasn't offered, Square said his interest in the Hokies is strong.
It's in the top spot on the front page, but in case you missed anything yesterday (or the additional things coming in the next couple days), you can find it here:
Four-star cornerback Kalon Gervin was talking a lot about Virginia Tech this weekend at the Rivals Camp in Ohio. Those comments and his game plan for the next stage of his recruitment in the article below:
The staff loves this kid, though it remains to be seen how much space there will be at WR assuming they land Darryle Simmons this weekend and keep Tre Turner No. 1 on their board at the position.
Obviously the staff would prefer he not (that's part of the reason they want other kids to make sure they've seen everything they want to see before committing - babysitting commits is no fun), but NC State is unlikely to be the threat here:
This kid is another super fast kid, a track sprinter. Along with Farley, and Pimpleton that are already in town, Ellis is going to have a great career making people miss and outrunning them. I can't wait to see what Fuente can do with this talent.
announcing Sunday.
Penn state is my guess.
If it is good. That will give them 2 WR. There in perfect position for Dortson which will give them 3 plus 2 TE commits do they have room for George?
Update: hearing some rumors he may be a VT lean.
DM4VT?
Smart for VT to work on being a power at Baltimore St. Frances, though really you'd think a little more vigorous effort with some of the already-offered guys would help, too.
