I obviously saw him play a few weeks ago. He's a very good high school player, a solid two-way prospect. Also not a guy whose pure athleticism screams "future contributor." Certainly getting into a college weight training program can help improve that (and there's always a role for walk-on receivers if they can consistently catch the ball and get upfield).

The highlight at about the 1:26 mark is the play I was describing here - and you can see ya boy pull out his phone and create that very post on the video. Extremely meta.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if anything came of this, but it's certainly worth keeping an eye on:

He was one of those guys who was sort of in-between "actual offer" and "PWO offer" during the course of the process - and there were certainly times that the staff may well have been willing to take him as a scholarship player. That means landing him as a walk-on is massive. Along with Will Jones (Stuart's Draft/IMG Academy), that's a pair of three-star in-state kids willing to come as walk-on players.

Of course, Duggan is also high school teammate of top 2022 running back target George Pettaway, and adding another familiar face (and building goodwill with the high school program) certainly can't hurt in the four-star ball-carrier's process, either. VT has oscillated between "good shape" and "work to do" with Pettaway, and any boost is a solid bit of assistance there.
