They can't even make a dent with highly-recruited players in their own backyard, but that won't stop them from trying to pry a future five-star corner out of LosAngeles away from the likes of Michigan, Oregon, and USC:
I never like to assume (at least to the extent you're putting expectations on it) that things like this are explicitly recruiting-related, but best to keep y'all abreast of it at the very least:

Otherwise... hey, maybe he's announcing what he wants for dinner or whatever. We see a lot of kids (though in fairness, Henderson hasn't typically been that type) going for those sorts of jokes lately.
I have a hard time seeing the staff bothering to mess around with a kid with this level of flakiness (that doesn't mean he's a bad kid, just a hassle to deal with that type of recruitment):

Terps seem to be continuing some relatively strong recruiting. With Rutgers looking to lock down New Jersey, UNC on the rise in its home state... Hokies have to start getting some wins on the recruiting trail, both in-state and nationally.

I'll hang out and post some thoughts here (more observations that I didn't have at the time, or ideas that are a little bit different with the benefit of context and hindsight, rather than any sort of PBP). Hokies have a bit of a... checkered past in the region lately, but they have to do better. There's no way to do better without putting in the effort, so this is an important step one:
Things have slowed in terms of visits for recruits, but Cole Nelson is still one eyeing a summer decision. He has three schools at the top of his list.
Too early to make any definitive statements, but even without any pledges from the commonwealth so far, it looks like things should be better than the past couple years... though still not to the level that will allow the Hokies to cherry-pick nationally and find sustainable success.
It's very clear that the staff seems to have (correctly, and maybe a little too late) decided to move on from other quarterback targets, and is also honing in on TreVeyon Henderson as far and away No. 1 on the RB board.
