His body shape is definitely something to watch. Depending on how he fills out, he could play a number of different positions (I basically punted on the "Overall" section, waiting to see what his senior year looks like):
This is honestly the class that really started to submarine things going forward from about 2013-15 on the field (which in turn meant there were fallow recruiting years that made 2017 and 2018 much tougher than they should have been, too):
Based on what I'm hearing from the first scrimmage, with some notes from the coaches mixed in where appropriate. There's still a ton to be decided in a couple positions, most notably offensive line (and of course, that can't be totally settled until VT knows Brock Hoffman's status):
The Hokies' position of not knowing exactly how they want the DL class to play out (is Bailey a DT? If not are they full at DE?) has probably allowed Michigan State/Tennessee - or maybe Missouri - to bump past, but it's going to be close if a final decision from the coaching staff that there's room for him is made quickly.
