He has a few to play defensive end and tight end, but he's a much higher-caliber prospect on OL, and it's smart of the Hokies to be first to recognize that:

I like his game. There are obvious drawbacks that limit the upside of his potential, but if we're being honest the Hokies brought him in because of a high floor, not in hopes they'd find a high ceiling.

Official visit begins tonight. Fuente and company needs to roll out the red carpet in a huge way. A running back with his speed and skill could vault VT back into the picture as a national contender THIS YEAR! We have all the pieces in place other than a game changing running back.

To be honest, wasn’t a top target, but you’d still like to see the Hokies not falling behind in sheer numbers of recruits.

It'd still be a pretty major upset for him to return to Virginia Tech, but the NBA option coming off the table increases the chances in a major way:

Florida and TAMU are both still more realistic options than VT (and I still think even Kentucky), but the chance is certainly non-zero.

It's important to note that this is not a game-changer (he got backup minutes for a brutally bad team last year), but frontcourt help is good news nonetheless:

The VT men's BB team will certainly be different this year, even if KB returns. With all of the new players on the team, the team chemistry is affected when transfer players versed in one system come to another, and current VT players now have a different style of play. The early season will be quite interesting just to see what we have, and what it will become. Even within the new system, how our new team stacks up against other ACC opponents will be interesting. If CMY can pull off a winning season and go .500 in the league, he will have done wonders. He sure is putting in the effort on the recruiting trail.

He hasn't been back to Blacksburg, so unless his mind isn't made up already (and it usually is made up already when prospects establish a commitment date in the not-so-distant future), not looking Hokies.
