No mention of anything beyond tomorrow and Friday, but I would assume the role continues if the chemistry is good.

CBS Sports and Turner Sports have added Virginia Tech Head Coach Buzz Williams as a guest studio analyst for the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship airing across TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV. Williams will join the Atlanta studio team alongside host Ernie Johnson and analysts Brendan Haywood and Seth Davis for Regional Semifinals coverage on Thursday and Friday, March 23 and 24.

Williams led Virginia Tech to the seventh 20-win season of his coaching career this season and has posted a 206-134 record in 10 seasons as Head Coach of the University of New Orleans (2006-07), Marquette University (2008-14) and Virginia Tech (2014-current). His teams have made six NCAA Tournament appearances.

NCAA Tournament coverage continues tomorrow, Thursday, March 23, at 6 p.m. ET on TBS with Infiniti NCAA Tip-Off. Reginal Semifinal game action will tip off with Oregon vs. Michigan and Kansas vs. Purdue on CBS beginning at 7:09 p.m., with Gonzaga vs. West Virginia and Arizona vs. Xavier airing on TBS beginning at 7:39 p.m.

All 67 games of the tournament are available live in their entirety across four national television networks for the seventh consecutive year – TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV – and via NCAA March Madness Live. This year’s NCAA Final Four National Semifinals on Saturday, April 1, along with the National Championship on Monday, April 3, will be televised by CBS.

Staff addditons

thought it might be addressed yesterday:
Have we added more support staff?
All I've seen is 1 offensive quality control coach added:
Certainly hope there was many more:
IMO we need minimum:
6 total quality control coaches (2-O 2-D 2-ST)
And atleast 3 more recruiting coaches:
This is bare minimum an for a place like VT, should have been done years ago.

So lets talk about pre-spring news and notes...

We all know there will be a QB competition. Nothing new there. Don't know what to think of Steven Peoples permanent move to RB. Surprised to hear Tyrell Smith will open the spring at right tackle. Glad to know Braxton Pfaff will open the spring at right guard. That's about all the info on the offense.

The defense? Terrell Edmunds to free safety. All signs point to Devon Hunter to rover? Divine Deable to free safety. Great size and athleticism. And now the unhappy part for me. Emmanuel Belmar to DE. Raymon Minor to DE. Very undersized. Jimmie Taylor to DT. Darius Fulwood back to DT. Very very very undersized. Xavier Burke to the D-line. Not sure where but probably DT. Never played there in college. Very concerning to me.

Mike Brey stated, "Farrell is better than Hurley."

Lucus States, "Brey needs to stop it with the drug use."

At first glance, I was sure this will as out of context, so I opened up the article. My heavens, it was certainly not out of context. Brey even doubled down when challenged on it. He restated, "I think he's better. He shoots it better."

I now have the three dummies of this year in the ACC coaching ranks with 3 recent and flat out stupid statements by Roy Dummiams, Jim Dumbhind, and Mike Dumbbrey.
