Surprising, given that he was one of the freshmen who had gotten decent playing time this season (and as recently as Thursday was playing a key scout team role as GT's TaQuon Marshall). However, unfortunate it may be, though, the Hokies have tons of numbers at the slot position, with the top guy pretty obvious in Sean Savoy.
Pimpleton will have to redshirt at his new school next Fall, then will have three years to play.
