Ol' Mack Brown really iced our boy but somehow we pulled it out.

I wonder how hurt Hooker is. If he is hurt then Patterson did real well anyway and he can run things OK.

Hooker's injury looked really bad. Not sure if he can go against ND. If not, I wonder who starts that game.

Despite all our troubles we are 5-2 and received votes in Coaches Poll.

2 of those wins were against lower division teams, and another was against ODU. All 3 of those games were a lot closer than the score indicates.

Best game I've seen at Lane since the 2011 Miami game when Thomas scored the winning TD on a QB draw with a minute left. The atmosphere on Saturday afternoon and evening was absolutely electric. A great game experience and victory for prospective recruits to enjoy.

Starting to belief Fuente may have saved the season and possibly his job with three consecutive wins - the Hokie Nation became believers again with the UNC win.

Key to season could come down to beating those _______Boo Hoos in Charlottesville.

Agreed. If we don't extend the bowl streak and beat UVA, I would favor canning Fuente.

Still need a better OC. Corny is no better than Steiney. Both need a mobile QB to make their predictable playcalling somewhat unpredictable. Not sure what's going on with the prevent defense but this defense needs pressure from somewhere every play. These DBs cant cover all day while we bring 3-4 man pressure. A seasoned QB is going to sit back there and pick us apart. You would think top DEs would be easy to recruit, they would likely see playing time early and often.
Still, it was a good win. The players showed alot of grit and determination.

Even with the struggles this team has had at times this year, I’m confident that the Hokies will extend the winning streak to 16 in Charlottesville.

If we win 2 of the next 4 games, I'd be confident, if not, I say we lose in Charlottesville.
