Man, I know we all appreciate the effort that Ryan Willis put in for this program, but the execution just has never been there. I don't believe Hooker to be miracle pill, but certainly his insertion will improve one of the weakest links on this team:
(of course the other weak link has been really bad defense... check back later for a solution there, because I don't see one other than the simple passage of time).

The former Penn State soft commit has been considering other schools (including Alabama and Kentucky, with a visit to the latter this weekend), but being fully back on the market is definitely an opportunity to get seriously involved again.
Not to speak ill of the no longer committed, but this seems like one that was inevitable after he didn’t light the world on fire to start his senior year.
I wonder if the staff has given any consideration to getting Patterson on the field with Hooker. He is a dynamic athlete a great runner. Perhaps at running back where he could have a run pass option. Another possibility would be to use him as an H-Back runner like we have been using Keane. Just hate to see that much talent on the sidelines and I am afraid he may enter the portal if we don't start getting him on the field soon. Note his comment in one of the articles about his concern he may never play because Hooker played so well. Doubt he will have the patience to wait until Hooker is gone and he only has one year of eligibility left. Just some food for thought and the kind of out of the box thinking that could make our offense even more dynamic.
