No chance, zero chance a FranknStine team comes back from 24 down. It's obvious at the coaching difference. Our D did not win this game. I dont care how well the D played in the second half. If u give up 24 in a half, you have not done well. Well, our offense won the game for us. We now have the ability at VT to take a game over offensively when the D struggles. The announcer said it best when he quoted what Coach Fu told Bud when he took over, "your D does not have to be perfect anymore." He was referring to how bad our offense had been, and it left little margin of error for our D in the past.
I repeat this, on paper, this is the least talented VT team by recruiting standards since the early 90s, roughly 1/4th of a century and this team got 10 wins, won the Coastal, and beat a decent SEC team in the bowlgame. This team had ZERO business accomplishing the above. No question, it is Coaching.
