Bucky Hodges is always split out so isn't he a wide receiver? Chris Cunningham is listed as a TE. He has had 1 catch per game in 5 games all year for a whopping 43 yards. 7 games without a reception and none in the last 4. I know we have a slew of good wide outs, but we've made good use of the TE position in the past. Just wondering...

Guys this is my and my family's last game at Lane stadium for a while cause I am moving to Alaska in the spring and my brother is moving to Florida in a few weeks. Looking forward to being at the game and hoping VT doesn't start slowly like the last two games.

If we take care of the ball and utilize a short passing game, I think we can possess the ball more than the other team and make them gamble. When they do, I think some long plays will be available, both running and passing.

On the defensive side, as long as we don't give up too many big plays, I don't see UVA driving the field multiple times against us. Bend don't break should be the motto in practice. If UVA scores 4 FGs, we win the game going away.

NC State knocks off UNC today 28-21. Hope this doesn't detract from Tech's focus nad motivation since they go the championship game regardless. Hopefully it will let them relax and just play loose. At times this season they have been affected by pressure situations such as the GT game when they could have locked things up.
