The Dec. 9 visit weekend will be a huge one...

Not only will most of VT's commits be on-campus that weekend, but so too will top target Devon Hunter (perhaps the Hokies' top overall remaining target), and now NJ Ath Markqueese Bell - who's already taken an unofficial for a game this Fall - will also be in town.

There should be many more by the time that weekend arrives, but Bell is a pretty big addition.

**New** All-ACC teams are out

Utterly ridiculous that Jerod Evans didn't even earn honorable mention all-conference (or that Augie Conte got second team, Bucky Hodges was selected as a TE, etc.). It's pretty clear that the media voted on hype, not production, but that's all pretty egregious. Why vote if your answer is basically "I have no clue":

**Tunnel Talk EXTRA** On Benjamin St-Juste

Entering his official visit this weekend, the four-star Michigan commit out of Canada (Vieux-Montreal, to be precise) seemed bound for Ann Arbor, with not very much chance of ending up a Hokie. The trip to Blacksburg for the nation's No. 215 overall player and No. 21 cornerback seemed like one more chance to get out and see the world before enrolling at U-M in January.

Based on conversations with the St-Juste and information gleaned from sources prior to the trip, the chance was low of a flip. The Hokies were hopeful, but didn't have much expectation of getting a true chance at him.

Coming out of the trip, though, the intel has changed. VT believes it has improved its position handily. St-Juste - normally very forthcoming with me, since I was one of the first to see him in-person - has been very coy about the trip in the past day-plus. He's not even saying much about how much he enjoyed himself.

"I will be dropping a video this week announcing my decision," is really all he has to say.

He'd been planning to sign his scholarship papers to Michigan this Thursday, so that's a good time to expect the video to come out. Virginia Tech was unaware that a final decision was coming this soon, a decent sign that it won't be for the Hokies. I'm still expecting the "choice" to be Michigan (air quotes because if he ends up a Wolverine, it probably wasn't much of a choice after all), but VT made this a bit closer than I ever though they could.
