That Old Dominion transfer receiver Ali Jennings will visit Blacksburg this weekend. A big one for VT:


While he is widely expected to end up a Hokie, getting movement in that direction is still big.

He'll always be a "what if" kid, because he was much more explosive before his pervasive lower-body injuries (particularly that ankle a couple years back). But as it is, hope the best for him in the next phase of his life:

Decision Day for Brandyn Hillman

I doubt the same staff will fair any different than last year's trip to the portal. Hopefully they find that diamond in the rough. So far, I'm impressed that only 11 players are in the portal. Thats great. It sucks that Smith is leaving. A former walk on, who earned his scholarship. To team captain. This guy is tech. He took a look at next year and said, No Thanks. This is a statement about Virginia Tech Football. I don't see next year being better than this year, Maybe win one- or two of the one-point games and finish 5-7 or 6-6. Can't wait for the spring game.

Probably not surprising on either end, but positive for the Hokies. He seemed to level up a bit this year.
