JC Price added to Hokie coaching staff, responsibilities shifted

I like the addition of members of the coaching staff (not support staff) being recruiting coordinators. It's probably something that's been overdue for a little while, because more organization and a focused approach in that regard has been needed.

Not sure what to think about Ryan Smith's promotion to defensive passing game coordinator - I would imagine it doesn't meaningfully change the responsibilities a whole lot, more adds a (deserved) title to his position, and probably a slight pay bump.

More analysis to come on these moves in the coming days.

It'll be interesting to see if the league tries to cram them in at the end of the year, if they are just abandoned, if the NCAA wises up and pushes the postseason back a month, or what.

Tim, would you please provide an update on the transfer portal prospects for VT? A number of quality players announced in the last few days like the linebacker at Clemson and some Nebraska players. We still need some help at several positions such as RB, QB, WR, OL and DE. Not getting good feeling about the transfer add at QB for example.
