For the record, from VT's end, they never planned on having him this weekend. Why is that? They plan to have Walker Culver in town, and if they can get a commitment/early signing, that works out great for them. They don't want Culver to be scared off by a higher-ranked guy - while they actually only have a mediocre chance at that guy.

The best case scenario would be to lock Culver up this weekend, then pursue Walker (Rasheed, that is - inconvenient coincidence on the names) after the early signing period is over, giving them a chance at both, without Walker potentially being a drag on their chance at Culver.

Not a ton has changed. DJ Crossen (VT commit) and Jake Venables (Clemson commit) are the two players that he is talking to most about recruiting but neither of them are too "hardcore" about it. Dabo Swinney and Justin Fuente has been checking in with Henry over the past few days.

No surprise, given Fuente's comments that they plan for this to be the signing day in the 2018 cycle, with basically every player (outside of the few they'll still be pursuing, like Dax or Rasheed Walker) sending in his LOI during the early period.
