Hoo19, I've admittedly been impressed with The Bun.

But it's hard to ignore 20 for 26.

I think The Bun just might be the second best up and coming shooter in the state and in the ACC.

Buzz had a secret weapon sitting over on that bench and just waiting for the right time to unleash him.

Equal-or-better results in the second matchup against each team played multiple times this year (Clemson, Boston College, UVa, Miami). Especially on a fast turnaround, I like the coaching chess match.

Forgot to post this a couple days ago when he told me, but Edina (Minn.) 2019 offensive lineman Quinn Carroll has set his first (recruiting) visit to Blacksburg. He's been to campus many times in the past as the younger brother of former VT long-snapper Collin Carroll.

The 6-6, 280-pounder has tons of top national offers (Arkansas, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, USC), but the Hokies' nice little connection should provide an advantage.

I know your taking a little break but would like your quick thoughts on:
1- both commits peoples and patterson
2- how last junior day and 757 clinic went as well as how recruiting is going in general.

Seems to me that we are way ahead of where we've been in the past in getting some quality football recruits. That's the trend with the top 25 teams who have identified prospects in their freshman year of h.s and quietly reach out to them to lure them into their program before they even shave. We've already gotten verbal commits from five 3 star recruits but some schools have already received ten or eleven commits and its barely March. Congrats to Coach and his staff for a great start to the 2018 recruiting class but one wonders whether the NCAA needs to step in to slow the process down so it doesn't start until a kids junior year in H.S the way it used to be.

Update on Rasir Bolton, a top-150 guard out of the 2018 class that speaks highly on Virginia Tech and his feelings for the program. Seems like the type of versatile, shot making guard that Buzz and his staff have come to like during their time in Blacksburg.
